The HDECs are currently experiencing a high volume of submissions across new applications, post-approval forms and queries, with the expectation this will only increase for the remainder of the year based on previous years. As such, applicants should anticipate slight delays across all areas as the Secretariat endeavour to respond to all in a timely manner. Of note is the sharp increase of new applications which is resulting in full meeting agendas being filled to capacity ahead of the agenda close date and time. It is advised that applicants submit as soon as possible if there is a desired meeting date ahead of the Thursday close date to ensure the applications
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Currently the Secretariat are planning prospective dates for extra meetings near the end of the year to help review the overflow as a result, which will be updated on the website as soon as possible. Applicants will not be able to request a spot on these specific meetings, but those who missed out on an agenda due to it being filled to capacity will be assigned to these and notified accordingly.
